How to Get Restless Crickets in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Link could use the boost.

Insects like the Restless Crickets are used for much more than simply collecting in Tears of the Kingdom, and if you want some decent Stamina Elixirs for Link to use, then plenty of these insects are required. But first, you need to find where the Restless Crickets are hiding and I know exactly where you can look to get that Stamina Elixir stash started.

Where to Get Restless Crickets in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

You can easily find Restless Crickets in the meadows south of Lookout Landing, which is the first major town located in Central Hyrule. There are a ton of wide open meadows that move south on the map, and in each blade of grass, there could be a cricket waiting to be collected in Link’s infinite bag of goods.

To actually collect any of the Restless Crickets, simply take any of your swords out and start chopping away at the grass. The wider your swing is, the wider the cut will be, which can turn into a disadvantage. Any time you cut away grass, there is a chance for a cricket to spawn, but they will flee so you need to catch them as fast as you can.

If you don’t feel like using this method, you can always head to a Stable anywhere in Hyrule where there is a vendor named Beedle. This vendor is always sitting inside and you can buy insects here. Restless Crickets won’t always be available, so don’t be surprised if there are none to find on certain days.

Once you have at least four crickets, you can start cooking them with a Bokoblin Horn to create a Stamina Elixir. I don’t have to tell you how important having an instant stamina recharge is, so you should definitely stock up when you can in Tears of the Kingdom.
