Tears of the Kingdom: How to Make Stamina Elixirs in TotK

It's not as nasty as it seems

Climbing or running will quickly deploy your stamina in Tears of the Kingdom. While Link can eventually increase his Stamina by progressing through the various Shrines scattered around the game, you’ll probably still find yourself running out of it during your exploration around Hyrule.

Don’t feel bad if you have to restore it by using items. Stamina Elixirs are necessary in the long run, so you better start stocking them up. Light up a Cooking Pot and start crafting some of them for your longer adventures. Here’s how to make Stamina Elixers in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Craft Energizing Elixirs in Tears of the Kingdom

An Energizing Elixir can be made by combining a Restless Cricket or an Energetic Rhino Beetle with any monster drop you find around. The more monster parts you throw at the mix, the more effective your elixir will turn out.

For the early game, you can your Chuchu Jellies as monster parts as you probably have lots of these, but any regular drop from monsters you’ve been killing lately work as an ingredient.

But when it comes to getting the insects, crickets are usually found below rocks, so leave no stone unturned when looking out for them. Alternatively, you can start cutting tall grass patches with a sword or any horizontal-slash weapon to see if any of them pops up. Be quick when catching them or they’ll disappear!

Energetic Rhino Beetles are way harder to come by and are also required for other tasks, so if you manage to find some, it might be better not to waste them on those elixirs.

You can make those elixirs as soon as you have access to Cooking Pots. I recommend using a fixed pot instead of a Portable Pot since you’ll probably want to make tons of elixirs. Save those for an emergency where you need to make an extra potion or some extra food because you didn’t prepare well enough before exploring.
