How to Get Plasma Fruit in The Sims 4

Being the socially responsible vampire

There are even vampires in The Sims! The night-loving bloodsuckers were first introduced in The Sims 3: Late Night expansion and have made their return to The Sims 4 with the “Vampires” game pack. With this add-on, players can create their own vampire characters and unlock some unique supernatural powers. There’s even a special place in the game for vampires to hang out – the Forgotten Hollow, where they can basically live forever.

If immortality as a vampire is your goal, drinking blood is something you must do. But, if you want to be a socially responsible vampire and not bite other Sims to drink their blood, the only alternative to quench your thirst is eating Plasma Fruit. So, let’s find out how to get this Plasma Fruit in The Sims 4.

Where to Get Plasma Fruit in The Sims 4?

To be able to purchase Plasma Fruit in The Sims 4 you must first level up your Sim’s Vampire Lore. Once you have a vampire Sim with 8 Vampire Lore you can use any computer in the game, browse to the Vampire Secrets section, and buy a Plasma Fruit for an in-game price of §300.

Alternatively, you can go to the Forgotten Hollow, the vampire hub zone in The Sims 4, and try to find some Plasma Fruit growing in the wild. It is an onion-shaped fruit with a pinkish hue (this was changed from the blood-red color in The Sims 3) that grows on the Plasma Trees – to identify them easier take a look at the picture below.

Lastly, maybe the best way to get Plasma Fruit is to grow your own, but for the ability to plant Plasma Seeds in your garden, you will have to level up your Gardening Skills substantially.

Once you get Plasma Fruit you can use it in various recipes, basically, any recipe that allows “Any Fruit” can be turned into a vampire-friendly drink or a meal – just don’t let the non-vampiric Sims consume it, as they will get “Foul Fruit” status that will make them very uncomfortable for 30 minutes.
