You can never go wrong with a high powered Sniper Rifle when it comes to end game boss fights. And Izanagi’s Burden is one of the best of the best when it comes to single shots that do big numbers. Here’s how to get Izanagi’s Burden in Destiny 2.

Like some of the best Exotics in the game, Izanagi’s Burden was released with the Forsaken Expansion. And while that chapter of Destiny 2 has long since closed, Guardians will be pleased to know there’s still a way to get your gauntlets on one of the most powerful Exotic Snipers.

First, you’ll need to own the Forsaken Pack, which can be purchased at your digital store. With the recent release of Lightfall, Expansions are cheaper than they’ve ever been, so now’s a great time to grab it.

Once you have the Forsaken Pack, head to the Tower, then meander over to the Monument of Lost Lights. There, you’ll be able to access archived Exotics from past years. Go into Forsaken Exotics to find Izanagi’s Burden. Unfortunately, Izanagi’s Burden has one of the highest costs when it comes to purchasable exotic. Expect to drop big Glimmer and resources.

The total cost will be:

• 1 Exotic Cipher
• 150,000 Glimmer
• 250 Spinmetal Leaves
• 2 Ascendant Shards

Yeah, it’s possible you might have to grind up to get some of that. But if you’ve just purchased the Forsaken Pack, you have access to three Forsaken Ciphers in the same menu; you can purchase Izanagi’s Burden. Grab those three Forsaken Ciphers, and you can redeem one immediately for Izanagi’s Burden. And it’s well worth it, too, as Izanagi’s Burden does fantastic and vicious things to raid bosses with its Exotic Perk Honed Edge. Honed Edge consumes the magazine and loads a round with additional range and damage.
