There are two methods to get Fate Fabric in Hades 2. The first method is to receive Fate Fabric from Arachne, the spider friend you can meet while traveling through the game’s first region, Erebus.

Sometimes, Arachne will reward you with free armor that also spawns one Fate Fabric. The three choices she gives you are random, so you may not get lucky every time you bump into her on the run.

The other method is to buy Fate Fabric from the Wretched Broker, who will make its residence at the Crossroads once players purchase the Summoning of Mercantile Fortune Incantation. This is the more stable way to get Fate Fabric, especially in bulk.

One Fate Fabric costs 60 Bones each at the Wretched Broker. Bones can be earned organically by completing encounters and other ways during a run, or by selling plants and fish to the Wretched Broker.

Fate Fabric can be used to purchase various Incantations including the Doomed Beckoning Incantation, which is necessary to advance the plot by summoning Moros and unlock other gameplay features. It requires three Fate Fabric and one Nightshade.

Other Incantations that require Fate Fabric are the Consecration of Ashes, Empath’s Intuition, and Abyssal Insight, which also needs Pearls to unlock. The latter is especially important as you will be able to upgrade your Arcana cards and become even more powerful.
