How to Get Dry Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Dry Wood is available in three different regions. While Sunlit Plateau is likely the first place you’ll encounter it, you’ll also find some in Frosted Heights and the Forgotten Lands. While it is considered a mid- to late-game resource, with this in mind, you can access Sunlit Plateau right from the Plaza if you spend 7,000 Dreamlight. You can also unlock Frosted Heights for 10,000 and Forgotten Lands for 15,000 if you need more spawn spots.

After making your way to either Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, or the Forgotten Lands, there are four different wood types you’ll find:

  • Softwood: A light brown wood you can find in nearly every region aside from Dazzle Beach.
  • Hardwood: A red-brown wood found in all three areas. You’ll also find it in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust.
  • Dry Wood: A grey-white wood you’ll find in Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands.
  • Dark Wood: A black wood found exclusively in the Forgotten Lands.

Dry Wood is the easiest to spot out of these three wood types depending on where you’re searching. While they are brown and black in appearance, Dry Wood is as white as snow. While it does blend into the environment of Frosted Heights, it is eye-catching in Sunlit Plateau and Forgotten Heights.
