How to Get Cotton in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Cotton is a crafting material native to Sunlit Plateau. As you run around the area, there’s a chance you’ll find lone pieces of cotton on the ground that you can pick up. It’ll appear as white puffballs with a brown stem. While they don’t spawn frequently, you’ll occasionally find them scattered around the region.

Alternatively, if you want to make a ton of fabric and need plenty of cotton, you can buy some seeds. After unlocking Goofy’s Stall in Sunlit Plateau, you’ll find cotton seeds among the products sold. Each packet costs 42 Star Coins, so be careful with your spending if you’re looking to buy a lot!

After you buy some, plant them and wait 25 minutes for them to finish growing. While it doesn’t matter where you plant them, they’ll grow much faster in Sunlit Plateau.

Once you’ve gotten your hands on at least five pieces of cotton, you can use it to craft fabric. By heading to any nearby crafting station and going into the Refined Materials tab, you can select the fabric and make some using your newly-obtained cotton. From there, you can create furniture items such as Archways, decorative Wooden Tables, and Market Stalls.
