How to Get Caught Skipping Class in The Sims 4: High School Years

While doing this may sound easy at first, it gets troublesome for a few reasons. You have a short time to accomplish this before the lunch and final bells ring, and during this time, you have to get caught by a faculty member. In most cases, that’ll be your principal. Thankfully, there are some ways to plan.

The first place to start is to make sure your Sim doesn’t attend class. They’ll automatically try to attend class once the first bell rings, so cancel this action. Before class starts, pause the timer and look for your school’s principal. Usually, they’ll patrol the hallways or speak with fellow faculty members, but occasionally, you’ll see them in their office.

Once you find the principal, make a beeline toward them and stay within their direct vicinity as often as possible. This may require you to follow them around to a few areas before they see you. You’ll know you’ve succeeded when a staff member approaches you and you see a “Be Caught by School Staff” bubble pop up in your actions bar. From here, one of two things will happen.

Getting in Trouble for the Live Fast Aspiration

Immediately following this situation, your character will attempt to convince the principal to let them off the hook. If they succeed, you won’t get in trouble, so you’ll have to try this again. However, the other option is the staff member won’t take the excuse and give you after-school detention anyway. If this happens, attend detention to get credit for the aspiration!
