How to Join After-School Activities in The Sims 4 High School Years

Joining an after-school activity doesn’t require visiting your high school or travelling to any specific lots. You don’t even have to talk to other Sims about it if you don’t want to. Instead, select your Phone next to the Notebook and Calendar buttons and head into the Business category by tapping on the yellow briefcase button. Picking “Join an After-School Activity” will bring you to a page similar to an adult Sim’s career selection page.

Once you open the list of after-school activities to join, there are four different options you’ll find:

  • Cheer Team Member
  • Chess Team Member
  • Computer Team Member
  • Football Team Member

The activity you choose will determine what skills increase during the couple of hours you’re participating. For example, the chess team boosts your logic skills, while the cheer and football teams increase fitness.

Each activity also has a daily task and performance bar, and you can gain promotions like a regular career. The only difference is that, instead of earning more money, you’ll get exclusive club-specific items, including a team flag and trophy! You can view your progress in your after-school activity by heading into the career menu and scrolling past your high school stats.
