Where to Find Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter World

You can get Firecell Stone by harvesting a mining outcrop in the Elder’s Recess region on High Rank or Master Rank. This material can only be found in one region, so you won’t be able to search just any mining outcrop in the game and the Low Rank is also out of the question. Before you head to the recess, make sure to bring a Cold Drink consumable to combat the heat.

How to Get Firecell Stone in MHW:

  • Search mining outcrops in the Elder’s Recess on High Rank or Master Rank.
  • Send the Safari Tailraiders to the Elder’s Recess.
  • Hunt the Uragaan.

While you’re in the Elder’s Recess, there is a high chance for the Uragaan to spawn, and defeating this monster also can provide some Firecell Stone. Depending on the parts you break, your odds of getting the stone as a reward will increase, but there is no guarantee. Outcrops are still the best method overall.

How to Farm Firecell Stone in MHW

The best way to farm Firecell Stone is to start quick expeditions to the Elder’s Recess or activate Investigations that have a mining outcrop upsurge in the same region. Expeditions themselves are super low risk and you can end them as soon as you’ve searched every mining outcrop in the region. They all appear on the map so it’s not difficult to track.

For those of you who get a lucky Upsurge investigation, this will provide a boost to the chances of rare drops from outcrops. Firecell Stone already has a low chance to appear so boosting the odds can save you plenty of time. When you finally get one, the mining animation will be much more involved which is your queue. Just keep farming the expeditions afterward and you’ll have what you need.

Farming with a friend is always better, but it might not help with cross-platform in Monster Hunter World.
