How to Find the Jadewind Hill Chests in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – Exact Locations

Located close to the Grasslands peninsula is a big Mogstool. And just beyond this adorable house are three windmills. Approach them, and you’ll get a notification that these windmills comprise Jadewind Hill, and there are three caches to find here.

To get to Jadewind Hill, you go west of the Chocobo Ranch, breaking off the well-beaten road and onto a trail. Once you get there, you’ll have to locate three caches hidden in the area. But unlike Thresher Waterwheel, these caches are pretty easy to find.

Each of Jadewind Hill’s caches is located in front of the windmills. You can see two of them at one time in front of the first windmill, but you’ll have to go a little further right to reach the third windmill and the last cache.

From left to right, the items you’ll find are:

  • 3 Potions – Heals one person by 350 HP.
  • 1 Mixed Potion – Heals one person by 350 HP and 20 MP.
  • 1 Bottle of Ether – Heals one person by 20 MP.

Once you’ve found all three, you’ll be notified that Jadewind Hill is complete. But that’s not all there is to gather here. Break open the crates beside the windmills for a chance to get a Moogle Medal or cushion. Likewise, you can find some rare resources here. By default, there’s plenty of the Manifestation of the Planet’s Blessings, Iron Ore, and Numinous Ashes. But there’s also a chance you’ll find the rare Ether Onion and Lea Titanium.

If you’re trying to get into the Mogstool, but it seems painfully empty, don’t worry. You just need to move the main quest along far enough to get a Chocobo and the Moogle Merchant will be available for business.
