Special Zombies like the Mangler find their way in all kinds of MW3 Zombies camo challenges, and they are some of the most frustrating tasks to complete. If you know where to look though, these challenges can be a breeze.

How to Find Manglers in MW3 Zombies

You can easily find Manglers by completing the Escort contracts in MW3 Zombies. Escort missions are located all over the Urzikstan map and are marked by a tank symbol on the blue contract phone. When you start one, you’re tasked with following an ACV and ensuring it remains intact by killing hordes of zombies in between research stops.

Three different Aether orbs need to be inspected by the ACV, and there is usually at least one Mangler at each stop. I have done a ton of these missions, and I’ve been unlucky enough to find one Mangler or fortunate enough to fight four in the low threat zone as well. Remember that contracts aren’t always created equal in each tier.

If you decide to do an Escort contract in the medium-threat zone, you’ll have more chances to farm Manglers that attack the ACV. However, you’ll need far more supplies to complete this without dying or destroying the ACV itself. Disciples will also spawn at Tier 2 of the Escort contracts, so be ready to face two Special Zombies at a time.

Bounty contracts are another reliable way to fight manglers. When you pick up a bounty, you can see the type of special you’re hunting in the description, which can save some time. The only downside is that these are Elite enemies, and you can only kill one at a time. So, I still recommend farming as many Escort contracts as you can in MW3 Zombies.

Eventually, you’re going to find some Mimics as well, so don’t fall behind on that search.
