If you’ve been hit by a monster that inflicts bleed, which there are quite a few in Sunbreak that will do this to you, you’ll need to cure it quickly if you want to stay alive.

The fastest and easiest way to cure bleed in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is to crouch and stand still. If you keep moving, dodging, and running you’ll continue to build up the bleed gauge and end up doing even more damage to yourself.

As soon as you get this status effect, find a safe spot and stay still. It can be difficult, obviously, with a giant monster hurling itself at you like it has nothing to lose, but that’s the gamble.

Your best bet is to get as much distance as you can without taking too much damage. If you’re playing with other people, let them take the aggro and just duck out for a few seconds. If you’re by yourself, hopefully your Palamute or Palico can take some heat off of you.
