Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: How to Get Meldspar Ore

So first off, you don’t need the Sunbreak expansion to actually obtain Meldspar Ore. It’s in the base game!

It only spawns in one zone though, so you’ll have to head over to the Lava Caverns to find it. Once there, just keep your eyes peeled for any mining outcrops you might see. In the Lava Caverns, they glow a slight orange, so they might be hard to see at first, but always look where the floor and walls meet.

You can run it in Expedition Mode so you’re not on a timer if you’re trying to farm a bunch in one go. Otherwise, just keep an eye out for it when you’re running through on your way to a monster fight.

As you can see in the image above we’ve marked some of the spots where mining outcrops will spawn. These aren’t all of them as they are somewhat randomized when you go load in, but the trail of three heading northeast is a good route to consistently take to obtain the most Meldspar Ore.
