How to Complete Treasure Hunter Mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

Opening some boxes.

How to Complete Treasure Hunter Mission in MW3 Zombies

The Treasure Hunter mission is the second mission in the Tier 1 set of missions during Act 1. It has to be completed before players can move on to the next tier of missions.

This mission only has one requirement: Open 25 caches. Caches are any containers in the environment that contain loot in them. Anything that can be opened is pretty much considered a cache.

You can tell when a container is a cache cause it will be labeled Loot Cache when looking at it. Players will have to open 25 of these containers for the mission to be completed. It is not even necessary to take any of the potential loot out of these caches; just open them up.

Opening 25 caches can be done in one game, so long as the player does not travel outside the neutral edges of the map. Traveling inward to the orange and red zones will pose a much greater challenge with enemies that have increased health and deal more damage, and it is totally unnecessary for this simple mission.

Starting from the spawn point, walk into nearby houses and other buildings next to them. Search every room for caches and open every container possible. The mission should only take one full game to complete, so long as you are focused on opening caches rather than completing contracts.
