With its expansive worlds and numerous procedurally generated realms to explore, one would expect Nightingale to hoard hard drive space just like I’m going to hoard every resource in the game. So, how big is Nightingale?
How Big is Nightingale?
In total, Nightingale requires approximately 60 GB of hard drive or, better yet, SSD space. It’s a giant game, a bit bigger than the install size of Palworld and around the same as Enshrouded, both of which fall into the same genre with a heavy emphasis on survival, crafting, and building.
If you’re willing to part with that amount of space on your drive, then you’ll receive a massive open-world game with survival and crafting elements. It’s both single-player and cooperative, allowing you to party up with a few friends to explore the world and take down bosses while venturing into various points of interest. There’s plenty to see and do!
What is Nightingale’s Download Size?
While the full install size of Nightingale sits at approximately 60 GB, the game will only download an impressive 52 GB in total. That’s quite the difference, right? Right? I would love to see additional compression come to the game sometime during Early Access, as it’s pretty sizable overall.
But alas, it appears as if this trend isn’t going away anytime soon. The simple fact of the matter is that video games grow in size annually, with additional textures, voice lines, and VFX to brighten up the world. And so, video games will continue to eat up our storage space.
Nightingale promises to offer plenty of game time for your money, and at only $29.99, it’s quite the steal. Plus, the developer intends to explore Steam Deck support sometime during Early Access, so tackling the Fae Realms on the go is a distinct possibility.
