The Conquest Mode is finally here with us in Marvel Snap, and people who have reached Infinite now have a reason to log in and play the game for something other than daily quests. It’s going to be a big hype in the following months, so naturally, you may be wondering what’s there to know before you play Conquest Mode in Marvel Snap, or how the mode actually works. I will gladly show you not just all of that, but more tips on how to do better and keep winning, based on my experience with Conquest Mode in Marvel Snap.
How Does Conquest Mode Work in Marvel Snap?
Have you played Battle Mode against your friends yet? You know, the mode where you exchange friend codes and duke it out until one of you runs out of Cubes?

If you have, well, now you understand the core mechanic of the battles conducted in Conquest mode. If not, I’ll give you a quick rundown:
- Each player locks in a single Deck that they will be using during the battle
- Each player has 10 cubes
- The same snapping rules occur, and the match can be worth 1, 2, 4, or 8 Cubes. If a player has 6 Cubes, for example, it cannot be snapped past that value.
- Round 5 and forward start with increased stakes (to prevent stalling).
- The match ends when one player loses all Cubes.
How to Join and Play Conquest in Marvel Snap?
There are four Tiers in Conquest mode that you can join by first clicking the joystick icon in the bottom menu and then selecting one of the Tiers:
- Proving Grounds
- Silver
- Gold
- Infinity
And each of these tiers has different entry costs, different rewards, and different duration. See the official Second Dinner image below, which serves as a great cheat sheet for this game mode. I will explain everything in detail below.
- Proving Grounds are free to enter, grant you nothing on entry, and if you win one match, you get a Silver Ticket and 15 Medals.
- Silver Tier requires either a Silver Ticket to enter or 80 Gold. Upon entry, you get 20 Medals. If you win one match, you get 40 Medals. If you win two matches, you get 60 Medals and a Gold Ticket.
- Gold Tier requires a Gold Ticket or payment of 200 Gold. Upon entry, you get 40 medals. One win awards you 80 Medals, two wins with 100, and three wins give you 150 Medals and an Infinity Ticket.
- Infinity Tier requires an Infinity Ticket or 500 Gold. Entry gives you 100 Medals, 1 win – 150, 2 wins – 175, 3 wins – 200, 4 wins – 250, and 5 wins give you an Infinity Avatar and 500 Medals.
You can spend Medals in the Conquest Shop located right under the Conquest button. There are a variety of things you can buy there, with items being gradually unlocked with each passing week.
Should I Pay To Skip Tiers in Conquest Mode in Marvel Snap?
No. Hard no. Do not do it. Do not even think about it. MAYBE for Silver because it’s so cheap, but even then, it’s just one match you need to win! Think of all the Token Bundles you can buy with that Gold. I would absolutely not recommend paying real money to play this mode. It makes no sense. The trade-off is abysmal.

How to Do Better in Conquest Mode in Marvel Snap?
My choice was Dracula/Morbius/MODOK deck and it was a blast playing it. Why? Because it’s chaotic and unpredictable. And those are the decks you will find most success with. You aim to surprise an opponent and gain an early advantage with Cubes as much as possible. A lot of people will outright ragequit when you win Round 1 with 8 Cubes because they do not want to grind back into the match. In fact, when you’re playing a Silver Match, just snap immediately. You do not give a damn about the outcome. It’s literally free to join again, win it, and progress forward.
Otherwise, play a bit smarter and manage your Cubes. Consider that a stable and predictable deck with a good win rate might be forced to grind for a lot of 1-Cube or 2-Cube matches, whereas the unstable decks tend to cause surprises, with some good RNG on your side. Remember: If your opponent cannot reasonably calculate what’s your next step and what will your Power be on the three locations, they are more likely to Snap suboptimally. That’s where you come in. If you know what the maximum extent of their Power is, you can easily figure out if you should push. I have covered all of this in my guide on how to reach the Infinite rank:
Why Is Infinity Conquest Mode Locked?
Even if you want to pay the big price of 500 Gold or to spend your hard-earned Infinite ticket – there is a lock with a counter that’s counting the days until the Infinite Conquest will be available. Sadly, yet unsurprisingly, Marvel Snap does not have that big of a player base, and getting to Infinite Conquest is not that easy (think of it as 12 Hearthstone Arena wins from back in the day) so the matchmaking would probably be difficult to perform at a reasonable pace. Gotta keep things fast, right? As soon as the Patch that enabled Conquest landed, I came into Conquest and was fighting blatant bots in my first five or so matches. Unreasonable plays, suboptimal plays, plays that directly destroy them, etc.
