How to Get to Infinite Rank in Marvel Snap: Complete First-hand Experience Guide From a Card Game Enthusiast

It's a big mountain climb, that's for sure!

After trying for three seasons, I have finally managed to become Infinite Rank in Marvel Snap. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (and rage, of course) but the deed is done. And oh boy, do I have stories to tell…

What’s important is that you’re here and that you want to reach the Infinite Rank as well. I will break down this guide into multiple sections which will be easily accessible for you so that you can work on the aspect of your game that you feel you should work on. Yes, despite this being a simple “mobile phone game” with just 12 cards in your deck and few-minute games, there’s a lot you can do to improve your game strategy. Welcome to Prima Games, I will be your Snap guide. I have a long-standing experience in various TCGs like Hearthstone and I fell in love with the simplicity and quickness of Marvel Snap, despite not being a big Marvel comic/movie fan (watched less than 5 movies and 0 series, guilty as charged).

How to Reach Infinite Rank in Marvel Snap – Detailed In-Depth Strategy Guide

The table of contents is pretty straightforward, there are five most important sections in my opinion, sorted in the order that’s probably best to be adopted by a complete beginner to competitive Marvel Snap so that you can skip ahead if you’re already covered in a certain department:

  1. Grasping the Game and Card Mechanics
  2. Obtaining the Necessary Cards and Tools
  3. Understanding the Meta – Know Thy Enemy
  4. How and When to Snap or Retreat
  5. How to Improve your Mental Game

How I Reached the Infinite Rank in Marvel Snap – My Story

In section 1, I go over things you need to know about the Game and Card Mechanics, which will then help you learn how “things work” as new cards come out.

In section 2, I will give you some tips on how to improve your Collection Level without investing much money, and how to choose which cards you want to get from the Token Shop.

In section 3, I will give you some tips on how to better prepare for your matches, and how to analyze the board state on the fly, which will help you in both selecting the deck you want to play, and of course, help you to deal with the decks that are coming your way on the ladder to Infinity.

In section 4, I will give you some tips on probably the most important aspect of this game – Snapping. You can have a 70% win rate with your deck, but you can still consistently lose ranks, because of wrong snaps on your end, and missed opportunities to retreat when you were supposed to.

In section 5, I will discuss the mental aspect of Marvel Snap. After all, this is a mental game, like Chess, Go, Poker, or even Tennis. A tilted mind loses you games, cubes, and potentially the will to play Marvel Snap at all. I don’t want you to get to that point.

If you get any success from this article, make sure to share it with your Marvel Snap friends, and make sure to practice with them in the Battle Mode. Practice makes perfect! And you don’t lose cubes on random losses. Until Second Dinner decides to add a non-ranked mode, that is. Hooray, Early Access protection cloak!

Of course, there’s a lot of Marvel Snap content here on Prima Games, under the Marvel Snap tag located left under this article. Make sure to check it out. See you around!
