Diablo 4 isn’t always the smoothest game, around, and there’s a chance you’ve encountered rubber banding, lag, or even errors. But few errors are as vexing as Error 316719, which has a tendency to stop you from playing the game at all. Here’s what might be causing it.

If you have Error 316719, you likely got a Network Disconnect error, and got this notification after you attempted to rejoin the game. And while you might have made it to the Diablo 4 menu, it’s likely in the menu you’ll stay. Error 316719 means that the game has too many players attempting to join at the moment. Diablo 4 is thus trying to deal with the server load, and you’ll get in once the queue has been shortened.

Unfortunately, that means there’s really only one solution to this error code.

And that’s to wait, or do other things. Like your taxes, or have a cup of tea, or pet a cat. Whatever quells the rage and frustration the queue music conjures up in the deepest pit of your soul. Personally, I’ll be commissioning fan art of Lilith and her giant flesh cape.
