Octopath Traveler II will soon be releasing and if you’re like me, it’s one of your most anticipated games of the year. The previous game offered deep characters with interesting stories and a combat system that offered plenty of versatility and experimentation. But is it worth purchasing early? Does Octopath Traveler II even have pre-ordered bonuses and, if so, what are they?
Does Octopath Traveler II Have Pre-order Bonuses – Answered
The answer is, yes! Octopath Traveler II does have pre-order bonuses and they extend to all platforms that Octopath will come out on: the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. Now let’s get to the unasked second question I know will be pressing on your mind: is it worth it to pre-order Octopath Traveler II?
Well, it depends.
This pre-order bonus, called Travel Provision Bundle will offer the following in-game items:
- Healing Grape (M) x 5
- Inspiriting Plum (M) x 5
- Revitalizing Jam x 2
- Gold Dust x 1
For those who are familiar with the game, these items will be familiar. Healing Grape (M) in the previous game healed 1,750 health, Inspiriting Plum (M) healed 500 SP, Revitalizing Jam restores both HP, SP, and BP, and Gold Dust can be sold at shops for 5,000 leaves.

If you’ve played the previous games, you know that items are frequently a huge component for taking down bosses. How many people googled the term “Revitalizing Jam” farm during Octopath I? I know I did. These items are great for mid-to-late game play, so if you know you’ll definitely be playing Octopath for that long, it’s absolutely worth it.
Personally, I’ll be stockpiling as many Jams for that end game as possible. Though I do wish there was a cool weapon or two in the mix.
