Where to Find the Shifting City Dungeon in Diablo 4

Shifting City is located in the Dry Steppes, next to the Ruins of Qara-Yisu Stronghold. You will see the location on your map after conquering this stronghold.

Once you complete this stronghold, you’ll unlock the Ruins of Qara-Yisu Waypoint and the Shifting City Dungeon directly northeast. You can take the Nevesk Waypoint and travel west to reach this spot quickly.

Diablo 4 – Shifting City Dungeon Walkthrough

The first part of this dungeon requires you to locate and return Ancient Statues to the pedestals in front of the Forsaken Gate. In most dungeon layouts, you’ll have two main branching paths from here where, after you clear out the enemies, you’ll spot the statues lying on the ground. Bring these to the pedestals to open the gate and travel into the Ruins of Anguish.

Once you’re in the Ruins of Anguish, you’ll find the second part of this dungeon: Animus Carriers. Your next task in Shifting City is to search for Animus Carriers, elite mini-boss enemies that drop Animus upon death. Defeat them all and deposit the Animus into its urn to move on to the final boss.

For the last part of the dungeon, you’ll have to defeat the Tomb Lord boss. While this boss is straightforward, it’ll periodically spawn enemies for you to defend against, bone walls that hinder your movements, and hard-hitting attacks that can quickly drain your health. Overall, you’ll want to keep an eye on your HP and eliminate the boss as fast as possible.
