If you want the best loot in the game, you’ll need to be playing on higher-world tiers constantly. However, the game only allows you to start on World Tier 1 or 2, so here’s how to unlock World Tier 3 so you can start getting better loot; just be prepared.

How to Unlock World Tier 3 Nightmare in Diablo 4

To unlock World Tier 3 in Diablo 4, players must complete the main campaign and the Cathedral of Light Dungeon in Kyovashad on World Tier 2. This will then unlock the ability to change over to World Tier 3.

Be prepared, because the game recommends you are somewhere between levels 50-70 to play on the World Tier 3 difficulty option.

We recommend starting the game on World Tier 2 because it will offer increased Gold and experience. While the challenge might be more difficult than Tier 1, it’s worth the added difficulty to prepare yourself for World Tier 3 and 4 as fast as possible.
