On the note next to the statue, you’ll find the following riddle:

“Pay your respects to her, and she will see you safely on your way. Ignore her, and suffer the fate of these poor fools.”

The key line here is “Pay your respects to her”. In other words, say hello to the statue! By doing this, you’ll solve the riddle and find a hidden chest with two Elixirs of Combatant Fortune, completing the Traveler’s Superstition quest along the way!

How to Use Emotes in Diablo 4

To use the Hello emote in front of the statue, you’ll first have to assign it to your emote wheel. To do this, press E on your keyboard or the up arrow on your controller to view your emote wheel. If the hello emote is already there, you can select and use it right away!

If you don’t see the emote, you can take these exact steps to assign and use it:

  • Select Customize
  • Go into the Emotes tab and scroll through until you see “Hello”
  • Click the Hello emote and assign it to one of the slots in your emote wheel.
  • Save your changes

Now, whenever you open your emote wheel, you can say hello to the statue to get the treasure! You can also use it to socialize with other players if you get bored and want to have some fun. I do this sometimes, and it makes for some goofy interactions.
