How to Unlock the Iron Blood Aspect in Diablo 4

You can obtain the Iron Blood Aspect in two ways:

  • Clear the Forgotten Ruins dungeon in Kehjistan
  • Extract it from armor

Completing the Forgotten Ruins dungeon is a guaranteed way to get the Iron Blood Aspect for your Barbarian. However, if you already have gear with this Aspect, you can extract it at an Occultist and imprint it onto another armor piece later.

Forgotten Ruins Dungeon Location in Diablo 4

The Forgotten Ruins dungeon is situated in western Kehjistan, west of the Iron Wolves Encampment and north of Gea Kul. I’ve included two screenshots below: one of a direct route from Gea Kul to the Forgotten Ruins dungeon and another from the Iron Wolves Encampment after I discovered its Waypoint.

As the picture above shows, the Iron Wolves Encampment is much closer than Gea Kul, but it is easy to miss this settlement if you’re not looking for it!

What Does the Iron Blood Aspect Do in Diablo 4?

Iron Blood is a defensive Barbarian Aspect that, at minimum, gives you a two percent damage reduction for every nearby bleeding enemy, stacking up to ten percent at one time. This is especially helpful if you’re going Whirlwind or Rend Barbarian, as both skills are effective at dealing bleeding damage to large groups of enemies.

Diablo 4 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. To learn more about the game, check out how to get the Edgemaster’s Aspect in Diablo 4, or click the Diablo IV tag below to explore our entire content collection!
