Guardians can acquire this particular weapon by completing the Essence of Insanity quest that is provided in the Shadowkeep expansion. You can receive the Essence of Insanity as a drop by performing activities on the Moon. Once you have completed the Essence of Insanity quest, you will be rewarded by having the Love and Death grenade launcher added to your inventory for all of your future battles.

This weapon comes with the great perks of Rampage and Aggressive Frame. Aggressive Frame provides the gun with high damage and high recoil. Rampage allows the Love and Death grenade launcher to grant increased damage temporarily. This increased damage buff can then be stacked up to three times.

Guardians will undoubtedly be getting a worthwhile weapon when they add this grenade launcher to their arsenals. However, it will take some time to complete the Essence of Insanity, so do not expect to get this weapon suddenly.
