Bridges are a vital part of travel in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but they can also become one of your greatest weapons. If you’ve recently chopped down a bridge to stop the flow of enemies coming your way, is there any way to repair it for your journey home?
Can You Fix Bridges in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
If you’ve slashed down a bridge, you’re going to have to wait patiently for it to be rebuilt. You cannot aid in the restoration efforts, but don’t fret — it only takes a couple of days for the bridge to be operational and functional once again. Feel free to visit your local campsite, or if you’re in a town that you’ve purchased a home in, sleep the days away until you can cross once again. At this point, you should be able to continue once again in the intended direction.
Why would you chop down a bridge, you may be asking? I’m glad you did. If you’ve got a plethora of enemies that are pursuing you, knocking out a bridge is one of the fastest ways to ensure a swift victory — especially if you’ve got a bridge full of Goblins that are waiting to attack. You could wait for them to all come onto your side so you can take them out one by one, but you’ll find that it’s sometimes just easier to eliminate them where they stand, even if it makes travel a little more difficult.
There are a few options that you can use in the meantime if you need to get somewhere quickly. Many open bodies of water happen to have Cyclops near them, and you can trick them into becoming a makeshift bridge. You’ll even get a Trophy/Achievement for doing this. Any large creature should work well enough, but the Cyclops will be the easiest way to make this happen. Otherwise, camp it out, and you’ll be ready to go.
