Borderlands 3 Moonfire Legendary Guide

If you’re not quite sure why you might want to get your hands on the Borderlands 3 Moonfire Legendary pistol, we can help you out there. This Torgue weapon has a singular damage bonus that kicks in on your third shot and the special weapon effect is called “Meet your destiny” – you get increased damage for every third shot. If you’re emptying a bunch of bullets into one particularly tough enemy, then you’re going to be able to make the most of this particular increase. It’s just a souped up pistol but who doesn’t want one of those?

Now, if you’re curious about how to actually get your hands on the Moonfire, it’s actually pretty easy. This weapon, like most Legendaries, has a random chance at being dropped from any sort of chest or object in the galaxy. However, the good news is that it has an increased chance to drop from one specific boss – Wotan the Invincible. Honestly, we reckon that Wotan is out here doing people a solid because they also drop a gun called the Redistributor, and we’ve got a guide on that killing machine that we’ve relinked here for your benefit. All you’re going to have to do is to farm Wotan until they drop this Legendary pistol, so honestly, you won’t break too much of a sweat doing it.

Now that you have our Borderlands 3 Moonfire guide on hand, it should be a touch easier for you to farm the boss that you need to in order to pick it up. We do so love it when guns have an increased frequency to drop from a particular enemy – farming gets much more efficient.
