Borderlands 3 Ogre Legendary Guide
If you’re looking for something that doesn’t need to be particularly fancy to pack a punch, then you might want to take a gander at the Borderlands 3 Ogre. This Vladof assault rifle is pretty cool because it fires missiles instead of bullets. Yes, you heard that right. Missiles instead of bullets. The special weapon effect of the Ogre is as follows – “It’s all ogre now”. As mentioned, the gun fires missiles instead of bullets and has no alternative fire mode. Essentially, it does a whole ton of damage that is non-elemental and it always spawns without an element. Legacy fans of the series will recognize it as a weapon that’s making a comeback from the older games, and we reckon it’s always nice to see Easter eggs like that.
If you’re someone who’s wanting to pick this up because it sounds like something that you could get behind using, then our recommendation would definitely be to head right to the Anointed Alpha who kicks around in The Anvil on Eden-6. We have a guide on killing this boss too if you want to refer to it – we’ve relinked it for your convenience here. Yes, you can technically get the Ogre Legendary assault rifle from anything that gives you loot in Borderlands 3 (including random cases on the ground and things that you punch hard enough). However, why not just farm the boss that has an increased chance to drop it? We’re all about efficiency here on Team Prima, and after recent damage buffs to the weapon, you don’t want to waste time picking it up.
So now that you have our guide on how to get the Borderlands 3 Ogre Legendary assault rifle, you’ve got the option of totally mowing down your enemies here as long as they’re not ones that are going to require a whole bunch of elemental finagling to kill. If you don’t quite have the game yet, why not pick it up here via Amazon and also support Prima Games while you’re at it? We’d be eternally grateful. Need a hand with anything else in Borderlands 3?
