There are a few assault rifles that have routinely popped up at the top of the Warzone 2 meta so far, but none of them have been as consistent as the TAQ-56. This rifle has similar control to the Lachmann-556 and comparable damage to a weapon like the RPK light machine gun.
With a combination that powerful, it’s hard to ignore the potential that the SCAR currently has in Warzone 2 Season 1. However, we want to make sure that the TAQ-56 is at peak potential. In this loadout guide, we’ll go over all the attachments you need and why.
Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best TAQ-56 Loadout
Although many of the assault rifles in Al Mazrah have differing stats, the attachments used in their loadouts remain similar. The main goal is to enhance the overall damage range and control of the weapon while adding some ammo capacity. Below you can find all the attachments needed.
- Receiver: TAQ-56
- Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
First up we have the barrel attachments which are integral to making a long-range build in Warzone 2. The 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel is the clear choice on the TAQ-56 for the bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control. We can also move the tuning slider to the right for even better stats. Add the Harbinger D20 muzzle as well and now we have the perfect ranged AR.

After we’ve built our barrel, we want to move towards a bit of extra control. In Warzone, the VX Pineapple is the perfect underbarrel grip because of the overall stability it adds to the weapon. It’s not too bulky and it can hold the recoil down. Feel free to tune this attachment as well.
The last two attachments are the VLK 4.0 Optic and the 60 Round Mag. Versatility and range are the names of the game for the VLK 4.0, and if it feels to slow, make sure to tune this piece. Having the 60 Round Mag can make that slow speed even worse, but the capacity is worth it. Worst case scenario, you can add the 40 Round mags instead.
