Prepare yourself for the next Grau.

The next iteration of the Call of Duty Battle Royale mode means the next iteration of a meta as well, and we may already have a king. So far, the Lachmann-556 has proven to be a standout assault rifle in Warzone 2. Now players are scrambling to get their own loadouts with the 556 ready to go.

What makes the AR version of the Lachmann platform stand out is the amount of recoil control and range it has. Nearly every Warzone meta is dictated by how well a weapon can stay still at a distance and maintain damage. In this Lachmann-556 loadout guide, we’ll go over all the pieces you need for a successful primary weapon option.

Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best Lachmann-556 Loadout

You’ll notice on this loadout that many of the attachments are similar to those you would find in the original Warzone. This is no accident, and many of the battle royale loadouts will focus on range over ADS. Control and damage range are king here. Below you can find all of the attachments you need.

  • Receiver: Lachmann-556
  • Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann RAPP Barrel
  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mag
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic

Just like the Warzone loadouts of old, we need a range increasing suppressor slot and a decent barrel. In Warzone 2, we want the 15.9″ Lachmann RAPP Barrel, along with the Harbinger D20 muzzle. With these slotted, your rifle is going to have tons of additional damage range and nearly overpowered recoil control.

Next, you’ll want the VX Pineapple underbarrel for even further recoil control across the board. On most assault rifle or light machine gun builds this will be the go-to underbarrel. If you don’t have it, there are a few other options with very similar stats.

Our last two attachments are the 40 Round Mag and the VLK 4.0 Optic. Once again, these would have been staples of the original Warzone because of the additional ammo capacity and the need for a versatile 4x optic. As a whole, this loadout will certainly be a prominent option for the Lachmann-556 in Warzone 2.
