One of the first sniper rifles you’ll get to use in Modern Warfare 2 is the MCPR-300 and it’s a fantastic weapon to get back into some classic Call of Duty sniping. It serves as the classic bolt-action with a moderate punch that’s found in nearly every game within the franchise.

Unlike the marksman rifles, the snipers aren’t entirely about speed. There needs to be a good mix between damage range and mobility that allows for each shot to bring down an enemy. In this guide, we’ll go over all the attachments you need in the MCPR-300 loadout to take players out of the fight with ease at any range.

Modern Warfare 2 – Best MCPR-300 Loadout

On this build, we’re going to focus on a mix of heavy and mobile attachments. What makes snipers better than marksman rifles in some cases is the ability to one-shot kill in a larger area. Below you can find all the attachments to pull that off with some speed.

  • Receiver: MCPR-300
  • Barrel: 22″ OMX-456
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
  • Stock: FSS Merc Stock
  • Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
  • Magazine: 5 Round Mag

The main damage range attachment on this loadout is the 22″ OMX-456 barrel. This is a fairly heavy attachment with some negatives to mobility but it’s worth it overall. In return, we get the boost to range we need to ensure long distance is always viable. Extra bullet velocity doesn’t hurt either.

Most of the additional slots for the MCPR-300 are reserved for ADS and sprint to fire time. With the damage range all set, we don’t need to worry about any control or accuracy along with it. Base stats are good enough, so we can use the Cronen Cheeta Grip, FSS Merc Stock, and the Schlager PEQ Box IV laser.

Our last attachment is the 5 Round Mag for numerous reasons. Many of them are tied to even more ADS speeds, but the reload should be slightly faster as well. Five shots are enough when each shot deals so much damage in Modern Warfare 2.
