Best M4 Loadout in COD MW2 Season 3 Reloaded

No ranked, no restrictions.

Tons of players run around with the TAQ-56 because it’s the dominant weapon in Ranked Play, but many of them seem to have forgotten about all of the banned weapons. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded, the M4 is still one of the best options for a deadly loadout in the game.

Along with one of the fastest time-to-kills in the game, the M4 is incredibly versatile on every Multiplayer map you can think of. Whether you want to challenge subs or outgun many of the AR players, we have just the loadout for you that will carry you through the new season.

MW2 Season 3 Reloaded – Best M4 Loadout

This classic M4 AR is all about versatility, so we want to conserve a balance between control and mobility that enhances the base stats on the weapon. With that in mind, we’ll end up with about three control pieces and some effective speed additions that only get better with tuning. After all, this isn’t Ranked and we can tune it as well.

M4 Loadout in COD MW2:

  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
  • Stock: Ravage-8

Our three control attachments are the Hightower 20″ Barrel, the Komodo Heavy muzzle, and the Edge-47 Grip underbarrel. You can tune all of these for increases to range and control across the board, so feel free to try the sliders out. We can also get away with a heavier underbarrel after the ADS buffs from last season. I took full advantage of the buff and I pull some extra recoil control out when I can.

As for the mobility aspect of the M4, we want the Ravage-8 stock and the XTEN Grip. Any time I run an assault rifle build, even for the TAQ-56, the grip, and the stock are the best areas for ADS increases and speed. Without these, I feel much slower, and you will too, so take advantage of these in COD MW2 Season 3.
