Submachine guns are some of the best weapons in Warzone 2 Season 1 and one of the best options is the Lachmann Sub. Also known as the MP5, this weapon offers up a ton of close-range damage while maintaining the ability to win fights at medium ranges as well.

The only other weapon that clearly outshines the MP5 is the Fennec, but even then, it’s still a close match. And those medium ranges are where the Lachmann Sub will put the Fennec to shame as a sniper support. In this loadout guide, we’ll discuss all the pieces that go into making the MP5 a top pick.

Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best Lachmann Sub Loadout

There are typically two ways to build a submachine gun in Warzone. You either focus on the weapon as a sniper support with more versatility or you gear the weapon toward a close-range build as a primary. We want the close-range build this time around, and you can find each attachment below.

  • Receiver: Lachmann Sub
  • Barrel: FTAC M-Sub 12″
  • Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
  • Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10
  • Stock: LM Stockless MOD
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mag

Like so many other Warzone 2 loadouts, our first focus is on the barrel slots of the Lachmann Sub. Our goal is to provide more damage range, bullet velocity, and control across the board. For that, we want the FTAC-Sub 12″ along with XTEN RR-40 muzzle. The barrel can remain untouched but the muzzle should go to -1.4 vertical and 1 horizontal for more versatility.

Next, the focus is shifted to speed on the MP5. Attach the Lachmann TCG-10 rear grip and the LM Stockless MOD for some of the best mobility stats possible. These can also be left alone most of the time, but if you feel the need, these can be tuned to your liking for control.

The last attachment is the 40 Round Mag and this is a straightforward pick. No tuning is on this piece and it’s strictly there for more ammo capacity. You’ll need the extra bullets in the Warzone.
