Best High Evolutionary Decks in Marvel Snap – With Deck Codes

His sacred mission is to create the perfect society.

The new plague has arrived in Marvel Snap’s Meta, ladies and gentlemen. And I’ll tell you straight away, I am not liking it much due to the bad beat I have encountered since last night after buying High Evolutionary. However, the Internet is hyped as hell, especially after that misfortunate delay that has happened. Anyway, if you want to give High Evolutionary a shot, here are some of the best decks with Deck Codes for easy import. Maybe you will be luckier than I was!

Why the hate and naysaying, you may ask? I was at Rank 94 (using Tier 2 decks to get there since I refuse to give money for this game, I’m only here to cover it basically, and I would even refuse if the company offered to cover the expenses for the new cards out of pure principle). And then… I bought High Evolutionary. And then I got the WORST bad luck of all time, getting countered like mad almost every time perfectly, losing by 1 Power too many times. I do not think I’ve EVER had bad luck this bad in any card game. I fell all the way down to 77.

As someone who spent the previous two seasons in the Infinite Rank, this is a straight-up failure. I disobeyed some of the key parts of my guide, and I paid the price. Lesson: do not ignore my guide. It means well for you, your rank, and your health.

I am not saying the card is bad at all! It’s a great twist to the game, and I am playing mirror matches over 80% of the time, indicating that literally, everyone saved Tokens for High Evolutionary. The impact on the meta is still being measured, but the early data is in.

4 Cost – 4 Power – At the start of the game, unlock the potential of your cards with no abilities.

So you are wondering what these cards are and what effects they have… I must also inform you that Patriot no longer works with these cards if you have High Evolutionary in your deck. Here’s the list of all the cards that High Evolutionary impacts:

  • 0 Cost – Wasp – On Reveal: Afflict 2 random enemy cards here with -1 Power.
  • 1 Cost – Misty Knight – When you end a turn with unspent Energy, give another friendly card +1 Power.
  • 2 Cost – Shocker – On Reveal: Give the leftmost card in your hand -1 Cost.
  • 3 Cost – Cyclops – When you end a turn with unspent Energy, afflict 2 random enemies here with -1 Power.
  • 4 Cost – The Thing – On Reveal: Afflict a random enemy card here with -1 Power. Repeat this twice more.
  • 5 Cost – Abomination – Costs 1 less for each enemy card in play that’s afflicted with negative Power.
  • 6 Cost – Hulk – Ongoing: +2 Power for each turn you ended with unspent Energy.

Have you had enough of my incoherent rage-induced rambling? Good. Let’s see which decks have made other people successful and made me lose two divisions in less than 24 hours.

Your Deck with High Evolutionary will almost always have the same nine cards: High Evo, 7 Cards without effect, and Luke Cage. That’s simply rigid as it gets. So, the only difference in the approach is the “tech” solution. I am very scared of mirror matches, I hate the kitty/hit monkey bouncing deck with every part of my soul, and I especially hate Galactus Decks, so my personal “counters” for these are:

  • Cosmo
  • Enchantress
  • Hazmat

Obviously, it has not (fully) worked, to say the least. Hey, at least you get to laugh at my failure. I feel like Wile E. Coyote, charred from a recent explosion, saying, “Back to the old drawing board.” I tried playing around with Thanos, with Lockjaw, but none of that worked out.

Here are some of the best current deck codes for High Evolutionary.

Wave Enchantress Doom High Evolutionary Deck Code for Marvel Snap

Decklist:

  1. Wasp
  2. Sunspot
  3. Luke Cage
  4. Scorpion
  5. Shocker
  6. Wave
  7. Cyclops
  8. High Evolutionary
  9. Thing
  10. Abomination
  11. Doctor Doom
  12. Hulk

Personally, this one plays into Galactus too much. It has a great power output and a widespread Power distribution with Doctor Doom on Turn 4 or 5, so that you can better decide where to play your Final Turn. Sunspot is great for soaking in all the extra Energy.

TeddyNinja High Evolutionary Deck Code for Marvel Snap

Decklist:

  1. Wasp
  2. Sunspot
  3. Hazmat
  4. Luke Cage
  5. Scorpion
  6. Rogue
  7. Debrii
  8. Cyclops
  9. High Evolutionary
  10. Thing
  11. Abomination
  12. Hulk

Rogue is a great counter to the Luke Cage epidemic, and Debrii is good to clog both of the empty locations if the enemy Galactus decides to ramp up on just one of them (and you do not want mind games with these players). I’ll try it right now and see if I’ll have better results. There’s still time to save my season, I think.
