Best FSS Hurricane Loadout in Modern Warfare 2

Bring this SMG storm into the MW2 launch.

During the beta for Modern Warfare 2, the FSS Hurricane was a dominant force and that hasn’t changed too much since the official launch. Even with an evolving meta where every gun is available, the Hurricane has proven to be one of the best submachine guns available, and a good class only helps.

Because of the changes after the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the FSS Hurricane is a tad bit weaker to balance it out. Regardless, the attachments we use can keep the weapon in a top slot and allow it to flourish in any game mode. Our guide will go over everything you need for the best loadout possible.

Modern Warfare 2 – Best FSS Hurricane Loadout

When we make our build, we want to focus on the damage range of the Hurricane and some of the mobility options to help with close range. It’s a standard loadout across the board that succeeds in bringing out the best attributes for this SMG. Below you can find all of the attachments.

  • Receiver: FSS Hurricane
  • Barrel: FSS Cannonade 16″
  • Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
  • Stock: Demo Fade Pro Stock

The first two attachments are based on barrel slots to make the control much better overall. Both the FSS Cannonade 16″ and the FTAC Castle Comp will work in tandem to make sure the FSS Hurricane has a few more assault rifle properties. Without these, range especially can be a serious problem down the line.

Next on the list are the VX Pineapple underbarrel and the XTEN Grip. The pineapple grip helps a ton with hip fire capabilities and even more recoil control. In the meantime, the XTEN Grip will assist in ADS speeds so that the SMG retains more of its mobility in Modern Warfare 2.

To end the loadout for the FSS Hurricane in Modern Warfare 2, we go with the Demo Fade Pro Stock. This is another way to increase the ADS and sprint to fire speed of the submachine gun. That’s the last piece to the overall puzzle unless you want a sight instead.
