Best Beginner Atlas Tree in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

Racing to those Voidstones?

Every Path of Exile player needs a good starter atlas tree to catapult themselves to the peak of their planned build. Most players get stuck because maps aren’t dropping or you are seeing a lot fewer currency drops. These things happen not because of luck but because of an inefficient atlas tree. Here’s the best beginner atlas tree to follow right after finishing your campaign in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur.

Whether you are a new player or a returning player, everyone needs to focus on completing their atlas tree after finishing the campaign. Your goal is to sustain your maps and get more Atlas Tree passive points as fast as possible while getting some currency and upgrades along the way.

You want to focus on getting the Kirac nodes on the left, right, and center to get free maps from Kirac. Solidarity, Planar Tactician, and Expert Reconnaissance are your first priority notable atlas nodes. These give you Scouting Reports, which will be needed to reroll your free Kirac maps to the ones you need.

While these Scouting Reports aren’t that useful for the first few hours, you need to stockpile them to reroll your maps, especially when you reach the red-tier maps.

After getting these nodes, you want to get the Shaping of the Mountains, Shaping of the Skies, and Shaping the World notable atlas nodes. Basically, you want all the “tier 1-15 Maps found to have a 5% chance to become 1 tier higher” nodes, so you can sustain and find better maps as you progress through the Atlas.

At this point, you have two main options:

  • Get more Adjacent Map Drop Chance nodes and Item Quantity nodes
  • Focus on currency alternatives

This section builds on everything after you get all the map nodes mentioned above. You’ll have the freedom to choose whichever content you want to play here. However, I highly suggest building on something easy to finish and focusing on building your preferred farming method once you strengthen your character and unlock another Atlas Tree passive slot.

Personally, I path into Essences to craft some great gear early in the mapping stage. Afterward, I’ll go to one of the Eldritch Influences like Searing Exarch or Eater of the Worlds. Searing makes things a bit harder, but it is better early in the game to get Chaos Orbs.

The rest of the atlas passive points go to quantity, rarity, and Scarab modifiers. If your build is strong enough, you should get the Map Modifier effects on the top half of the Atlas.
