Every new league in Path of Exile has a beginning, and it is one of the most crucial parts of the life cycle. Getting your first character to progress outside the campaign and into the highest forms of content is the number one priority. If you decide to make another character, you can always use your first character to give some overpowered items to it. Not all builds are possible; hence the “leaguestarter” moniker got attached to some builds.
These builds are the best when it comes to progressing through the campaign and into your first maps seamlessly. Here are the best league starter builds in Path of Exile’s 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur league.
Safest League Starter Builds in Path of Exile Settlers of Kalguur
Archmage Hierophant
Zizaran’s Archmage Hierophant is one of the strongest builds in the game. Even Zizaran, one of the most popular PoE content creators, dubbed it the “strongest build he has ever played.” The build uses the Archmage support gems and uses the Hierophant’s passives to maximize mana, which is then converted into more damage.
The build is fast, a certified boss killer, and has one of the highest survivability in the game. You’ll have to use a different ability for its leveling setup, but it is easy to switch to the endgame once you get some currency or if you can farm Ice Nova of Frostbolts in the Labs.
It is also worth noting that Goratha created this build, which was tweaked for efficiency by creators like Zizaran, Steelmage, and Palsteron.
Rain Of Arrows Deadeye
Rain of Arrows could be the most popular league starter build of all time just because of how overpowered bows are throughout the leagues. Rain of Arrows can clear the campaign quickly because of its high damage, massive radius, and flexibility.
Most players league start the Rain of Arrows build because it can easily transition to other meta builds like Lightning Arrow, Tornado Shot, or even the Elemental Hit of the Spectrum. These are the most popular MF builds used to farm absurd amounts of currency. However, quantity has been removed from the game, which means these builds will be optimized even further. Considering how these builds sacrifice 60-70% of their power to put some heavy MF stats, these monsters will now be unleashed.
Summon Raging Spirit Necromancer
BalorMage’s SRS Necromancer is one of the strongest minion builds in the game. This build might be a bit slow compared to some, but it is strong enough to beat the pinnacle bosses on day 1 because of how well it scales to maps and bosses. Min-maxing can be a bit expensive, especially if there is going to be a huge shift to melee builds becoming popular in 3.25.
Boneshatter Juggernaut
Boneshatter Juggernaut’s rise to popularity was back in 3.22 Trials of the Ancestors. It probably has the highest survivability among all league starter builds, and it clears the campaign and maps with ease. While it does fall short when it comes to boss damage, 3.25 has many additions that can help the build rise to new heights. The build is relatively cheap, and you can also transition to other popular melee builds when there is enough data in the league to see which melee builds work.
Lacerate Gladiator
Like the Boneshatter Juggernaut, Zizaran’s Lacerate Gladiator is a slightly stronger melee build because it has better boss damage than the Boneshatter. The new War of Attrition Gladiator node helps you ramp up damage to rare and unique enemies, especially uber bosses, which is one of the main content melee builds struggle with.
