Payday 3’s release is fast approaching, now less than a month out from launch. Set to debut on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, all players can jump in and complete heists together, whether smooth and silent or loud and chaotic. If you’re considering jumping in, you may be wondering what you can get depending on which edition you buy. Here are all the differences between each edition of Payday 3.
Everything Included in Each Payday 3 Edition
If you’re planning on just buying the base version of Payday 3, you’ll snag both the game and a pre-order bonus if you buy before launch. This comes in the form of the Trifecta Loot Bag, featuring a cyan and black suit, mask, and pair of white gloves (perfect for getting blood on).

If you decide to pay a little extra and pick up the Silver edition, then you’ll get both of those alongside a Dark Sterling mask, carved in a beautiful chrome. You’ll also get six months of post-launch Payday 3 content, alongside three days of early access to the game if you buy it early. As for those who fork over enough for the Gold edition, you’ll get everything listed above. The main difference is that the season pass is upgraded to a year of post-launch content. This includes four heists alongside all Tailor and Weapon packs.
Which Payday 3 Edition Should You Buy?
For the vast majority of you, buying the base version of Payday 3 is going to be the obvious option. You’ll get the game and can pick and choose what sorts of post-launch content you want to snag. If you do plan to splurge, though, due to being a Payday superfan, then we’d suggest forking the extra cash for the Gold edition and skipping the Silver edition. You’ll still get some interesting stuff with Silver, but you might as well go all the way at that point.
