Today, Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. Starting today players can use the streaming service to play Xbox games without having to download them, as long as they have an internet connection.
Xbox Consoles Join the Xbox Cloud Gaming Service Today
This news comes from Microsoft directly on its Xbox Wire website. The great addition here is the ability to try out games without having to install the game, saving time and hard drive space.
Or let’s say you get an invite from someone playing a game that you don’t have installed, if you accept the invite the game will automatically boot up using the cloud service allowing you to hop right in.
If you’re using this on an Xbox One, some games that are next-gen only will be available to play using the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. Games like Recompile, The Medium, and The Riftbreaker.
In order to have access to Xbox Cloud Gaming, you need to be a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So if you’re looking to stream games either to your phone, tablet, computer, or now Xbox consoles.
