Looks like someone messed up! The alleged release date for Street Fighter 6 has emerged on the PlayStation Store! It’s very likely that the original plan was to have the date revealed at tonight’s The Game Awards event, perhaps alongside a new trailer or a game presentation – but now it is in the open, hours before the show.
Has Street Fighter 6 Release Date Leaked?
Thanks to someone jumping the gun over at PlayStation Store, now we can already clearly see that the planned release date for Street Fighter 6 is June 2nd, 2023.
The long-awaited sequel to the legendary competitive fighter recently had a closed beta test – from which many came back with great impressions. I had the chance to play it – and it was a blast! The next beta test will be held soon, and the planned release date for the game was so far only known as sometime in 2023.

At The Game Awards event tonight, we expect to receive official confirmation for this date, which has already become public many hours before the start of The Game Awards 2022 show. You can check it yourself on the game’s PlayStation Store page if they have not already removed this date from the pre-order information. You had one job, PlayStation Store!
Street Fighter 6 is definitely coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC during 2023. – date is to be confirmed soon.
