During the most recent Nintendo Direct Mni, Nintendo shared a first look at the upcoming remaster of the 2003 PlayStation 2 hit. Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD remaster will be an HD overhaul to the game’s original experience, making it a more modernized way to experience a fan-favorite.

Since the Nintendo Direct Mini is focused on the hybrid platform from the Big N, the reveal didn’t pay much mind to the fact that PlayStation 4 players can get in on this action as well. In an email provided to Prima Games, it looks like the remaster will be making a PS4 debut as well, though that release date is set for October 29th. Western folks will need to wait a little bit longer because the remaster will be launching alongside Tensei V sometime in early 2021.

It will be interesting to see how Nocturne stacks up in terms of enjoyment when compared to the original, as well as what the future has in store for this beloved series when Shin Megami Tensei V releases sometime next year.
