New Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood DLC Gameplay Lets You Harness Your Inner Cowboy

The Bounty of Blood DLC isn't Red Dead, but it is giving us serious Cowboy Fantasy.

Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption is a mouthful but it is also the latest expansion coming up for the most recent game from Gearbox. With 15 glorious minutes of new Bounty of Blood gameplay, players can finally learn more about the upcoming content drop outside of the announcement trailer that was revealed last month.

Bounty of Blood will take players to a brand new location seen with Gehenna, which is a desert locale that only adds to that Cowboy Fantasy Gearbox is selling. While this ain’t no Red Dead Redemption, it does have enough Wild West elements to appeal to gamers that loved to take to horseback. Only, instead of horses, there are customizable vehicles and crazed bandits called the Devil Riders. Take a gander at the video below:

The newest DLC drop will also introduce a few brand-new characters as well as the appearance of Salvador once more. Take out the bandits and earn some sweet loot, but it wouldn’t be a Borderlands 3 expansion if it were easy. Luckily, that’s what hoverbikes are for.

In the above video, we’ve got our first look at the JetBeast hoverbike, a vehicle that players can customize to their playstyle as a means to get from one place to another much faster. Or players can hoof it, if they prefer. Not recommended, but to each their own!

New enemies, new features, and new weapons are all a small part of the new drop when Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 25th.
