Activision always seems to go all out with its Call of Duty advertising, as noted a couple of years back when Jonah Hill and Sam Worthington teamed up to kick some ass for Black Ops. But that’s nothing compared to this year’s over-the-top production, directed by Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Sherlock Holmes and its sequel).
The ad, released today, features several stars battling its out for superiority, using high tech goods included in the game, like a high-powered jet, walking tanks, and drones. What will really get your attention, however, is who’s in it. You’ll notice the likes of Jack Black and Zack Galifinakis, along with Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., who brings a jet to a gunfight. Nothing wrong with that!
However, a few other favorites made it into the commercial, including YouTube’s Kyle Myers, aka FPSRussia, who has no problem making short work of the “horse lady” (iJustine from GameTrailers TV). Still trying to figure out who that blonde is…hmmm…
Anyway, you can watch the trailer below and marvel in its magnificence, and get ready for the game in just over two weeks time, hitting stores November 13th.
