3 Best Druid Builds in Diablo 4 Season 4

Werewolves and Werebears again!

Diablo 4 has balanced the classes exquisitely in Season 4 Loot Reborn. We have a bunch of rising builds in the meta, however, the Druid’s power has been falling off compared to the other classes. However, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have any viable builds that can destroy all forms of content in the game. In this guide, we’ll aim to list down at least three of the best Druid builds in Diablo 4. Why 3? We’ll have a build that excels the most for each type of content!

Diablo 4 Season 4 – Top 3 Druid Builds

Werewolf Tornado Druid – Werenado

The Werewolf Tornado build is the Druid’s strongest build. It is quite fast because it uses the Hunter’s Zenith unique to refresh Trample and run all over the place. The single-target damage is one of the highest compared to other Druid builds, and it has great defenses with Debilitating Roar.

However, the build cannot function without the Tempest Roar unique because of your Spirit resource problem. If you don’t have it yet, you should try the other build below.

The Werenado playstyle revolves around killing as many monsters as Tornado and using the Hunter’s Zenith unique to reset your Trample and Debilitating Roar. The Tempest Roar turns you into a Werewolf giving you buffs from your Bestial Rampage key passive.

You’ll alternate shapeshifting into a Werewolf and Werebear using Tornado with Debilitating Roar and Trample to maximize the buffs from the key passive. You’ll have to micromanage a little bit by looking out for the active buffs, but when you get the hang of it, you’ll get 100% uptime on these buffs without even looking at your bars.

The only problem with the Werenado build is pushing extremely high Pits because you cannot capitalize on using uber unique items like the Harlequin Crest because of the Tempest Roar.

Shred Druid

Shred Druid has been made popular since the first season of Diablo 4 because of its “AFK” farming capabilities. However, things have changed drastically, and the build isn’t performing that well. However, it does specialize in speed farming, which is why it made the list.

The build uses Shred, obviously, but because of using Shred as your main source of attack, the skill also lunges you to the target, performing a devastating three-hit combo on the target. You’ll use Shred going from target to target and massacre everything in your way.

You don’t need to use Trample or any fancy unique, which is why this is a great build overall for starters. It does lack damage for single-target, even if you build up some extra damage through some companion aspects like Shepard’s and the Stampede.

If you run at a low enough tier, you can still kill bosses quickly, but now it depends on how well you can min-max your gear, such as hitting 100% Critical Strike Chance with buffs and 60+% Attack Speed.

Lightning Storm Druid

The Lightning Storm Druid build is the middle ground between the Shred and the Werenado build. It isn’t as fast as the Shred build, but it is much faster than the Werenado.

You’ll also use the same mechanics from the Werenado build, using both Trample and Debilitating Roar with the Hunter’s Zenith to go around. However, the reason why it is faster is because the Lightning Storm clears areas much faster.

When you ramp up your Lightning Storm by channeling it longer, you’ll increase its area of effect. You can blast enemies you haven’t even seen on your screen yet because of its large radius, which makes it one of the best builds in Diablo 4 season 4. You’ll use the same synergies as the Werenado, alternating Werebear and Werewolf forms to activate the Bestial Rampage key passive.

However, it has the same glaring problem as all the Druids in Season 4: They can’t use the Harlequin Crest because of the mandatory Tempest Roar.
