What did you think of the Xbox indie showcase that happened this week? Did any trailers catch your eye?
It was filled with great games, it was just soooooo long. Olli Olli World is certainly one more folks should have their eyes on.
We also had a Nintendo Indie World direct this week. What were some of your favorite announcements from the Nintendo Indie World direct?
Metal Slug Tactics is a game I absolutely can’t wait for. Plus all of the shadow drops like Garden Story, Axiom Verge 2, and Boyfriend Dungeon.
What do you think about the reports of a GTA remaster trilogy? Would you want to revisit past GTA games as part of a remaster trilogy?
I’m not a huge GTA fan, but depending on how they run and look I might be tempted to go back and try again with the franchise.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
I think my favorite piece is the news about Idris Elba voicing Knuckles. Such a great casting decision.
Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
I am playing a lot of fun stuff, but nothing I can talk about yet. Keep your eyes peeled next week though.
Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?
Nothing off the top of my head. I’ve been relistening to Choking Victim though if you want an old-school punk record that rules.
Bonus question, what is the funniest game you’ve ever played?
I think of Heave-Ho a lot. Not because the writing or anything is funny, but because it’s easily the most laughter I have produced while playing a game with friends.

What did you think of the Xbox indie showcase that happened this week? Did any trailers catch your eye?
I thought it was cool, Aragami 2 being on Game Pass, The Wandering Village, and The Big Con.
We also had a Nintendo Indie World direct this week. What were some of your favorite announcements from the Nintendo Indie World direct?
Oh man, I was so excited to see Garden Story and Axiom Verge 2! Everything shown was great honestly, and I’m very excited for Tetris Effect on Switch. I already own it everywhere else, but it’s well worth another purchase for Switch.
What do you think about the reports of a GTA remaster trilogy? Would you want to revisit past GTA games as part of a remaster trilogy?
I’m ambivalent honestly. I’m more interested in seeing a new GTA than seeing older GTA games get remastered. I’ll play remastered titles, but deep down I’m really just wanting a brand new GTA game at this point.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
Jesse’s coverage of the Xbox showcase and Nintendo Indie World for sure! Also adding a brief mention of my Gliscor guide for Pokemon Snap because it took me forever and I’m very proud of it.
Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
Not off the top of my head, I’m still in mental health recovery mode so I’m probably going to do a repeat of last weekend and go for a nice drive out to an empty park and walk around.
Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?
New Dreamcatcher song dropped called BEcause and it’s awesome. And shoutout again to Monsta X’s Gambler which has become one of my most listened to songs of 2021, it’s so good.
Bonus question, what is the funniest game you’ve ever played?
My first thought is The Stanley Parable. The game just messes with you in the best possible way. Honorable mention to Superliminal for making me laugh at how big and small I can make objects. My inner child absolutely loves Superliminal lol.
Lucas
Lucas is out this week, and will be back next week. Also… wishing a very, very happy birthday to Lucas today!
