The perfect mod doesn’t exis … We’ve talked about the epic friendship to which all friendships aspire with Animal Crossing’s Isabelle and the Doom Slayer himself but now one mod is making that pairing official. Ish. A new DOOM 2 mod is here and brings everyone’s favorite Animal Crossing face into the world of Hell and badassery and honestly? It’s perfection.

The DOOM 2 mod comes from YouTuber ‘It’sMeVeronica’ and it combines two worlds that work so perfectly together even though on paper they really, really shouldn’t. This PC changeup is pretty awesome and works with the classic DOOM mod experience GZDoom.

Isabelle is now Doomguy’s handy dandy helper, providing some adorable cuteness in the very throes of hell. Who needs demons when you have such a cute little outfit? And guns. Lots and lots of guns. Now all we need is an Isabelle DOOM Eternal mod, which honestly is just a matter of time at this point.

Both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and DOOM Eternal are available now for all to enjoy, though New Horizons is still a Nintendo Switch exclusive. You can also purchase DOOM Eternal here and Animal Crossing here to get your own copy while also helping to support Prima Games!
