How to Get the Exotic One Thousand Voices in Destiny 2

Ahamkara are some of the coolest critters in the game

Lightfall and its cataclysmic events lurk around the corner, and with it comes a whole host of new changes to the game. Bungie has made it clear that they want to shake up the way subclasses work on weapons. But some weapons will receive clear buffs, and that includes One Thousand Voices. So, how do you get the Exotic One Thousand Voices in Destiny 2?

How to Get the Exotic One Thousand Voices in Destiny 2 (2023)

One Thousand Voices is an Exotic Fusion Rifle that saw its peak in 2021, during the Season of the Splicer. Since then, it’s been a weapon that few have pursued. But Bungie has outlined a buff for it in Season 20. Now, One Thousand Voices will benefit from added Scorch stacks when using its chain Sola explosions… and if you happen to have the Ember of Ashes aspects equipped, that Explosion goes from adding 10 scorch stacks to adding 15 scorch stacks.

Will that make One Thousand Voices viable again? Maybe. There are a lot of Heavy weapons receiving buffs, so it’s hard to tell who will wear the crown. But just to be safe, how do you get it?

The answer is: The Last Wish Raid. Released in 2018 as part of the Forsaken Expansion, this Raid takes you to the Dreaming City. It’s one of the longest raids out there, with 6 encounters, and One Thousand Voices will only drop upon defeating Riven, Last Wish’s final boss.

Unfortunately, you can’t waltz in there and take down Riven any time you like. The Last Wish, like the other raids, moves on a rotation. And as of February 2, 2023, it will appear only once more during the Season of the Seraph.

Last Wish will become available on February 14, 2023, and I can’t think of a better way to spend Valentines than grinding out weapons by bonking a wish-granting dragon with a few thousand bullets and rockets.

Oh! And don’t forget. You can’t even touch the raid unless you have the Season of Forsaken Expansion Pass. Which will run you a cool $20 USD.
