The Bruen Bullpup platform has three powerful weapon options for players to pick up in Modern Warfare 2, and that includes the MX9, the submachine gun variant of the Bruen set. You’ve likely seen the STB 556 tear through teams at this point, and the submachine gun version of the weapon is almost as good.

It may not have the same TTK or range, but the SMG acts similarly to the STB 556, but with far more mobility. Compared to the other submachine guns in MW2, the MX9 has more range opportunities, making it closer to a hybrid gun. We’ll go over all the attachments you need in this guide to build the best loadout possible.

Modern Warfare 2 – Best MX9 Loadout

Because of the hybrid-like stats on the MX9, there will be more of a focus on range and control instead of full mobility. That doesn’t mean we’ll ignore mobility, but it may not be quite as fast as something like a Vaznev, so we can outpace those options overall. Every attachment you need is listed here.

  • Receiver: MX9
  • Barrel: 508mm Rear Guard
  • Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
  • Stock: Bruen STB 556 Stock
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mw

The barrel is first on the list and for that slot, we’ve chosen the 508mm Rear Guard. This barrel is used for damage range and bullet velocity, but you won’t get any recoil control. To compensate for the lack of stats, the best bet is to equip the Bruen Pendulum to help with recoil in both directions.

Support slots are the next focus for the MX9 loadout. This includes the Bruen STB 556 Stock and the Bruen Q900 Grip. The STB 556 Stock is used strictly for more recoil control, but it comes at the cost of more mobility. Having the Bruen Q900 Grip will reverse those negatives by adding ADS speed.

Slot five contains our laser attachment labeled as the VLK LZR 7mw. This laser is always used for pure ADS and sprint-to-fire speed at the cost of a visible beam. But there won’t be any stat negatives that you need to worry about.
