Destiny 2: Severing the Worm Quest Guide
To pick up the quest, go to the H.E.L.M. and find the Wayfinder’s Compass NPC. Pick up the Queen’s Summons, listen to the message, and you’ll unlock it.
The Severing of the Worm is a three-part quest during which you will perform the exorcism of Savathun’s Worm. Sounds gnarly.
Part #1: Exorcism
First, you will need to find the Exorcism location in Dreamland City. Look for an Exorcism icon on the right side of the map next to the Astral Alignment activity.
Now, with four other Guardians, activate three Ley Line beacons. Beware of the Hive waves and teleport to the bridge once you get the beacons inline. Fight the enemies to reach the tower on the other side. Fend off the entrance and enter the tower where you will find Saint-14 and Queen Mara Sov.
Gather around Saint-14 and defend Queen Mara while the ritual is performed. One of the enemies will be Kelgorath, Risen from Bones.
Part #2: Find Queen Mara Sov in the H.E.L.M.
Once the enemies are cleared out, a cutscene will play. Afterward, you will be tasked with finding Queen Mara Sov at H.E.L.M. Listen to what she has to tell you and prepare for the final part of the quest.
Part #3: Speak with Saint-14
You’re almost done! There is just one more step to finish off. The last thing you need to do is to talk to Saint-14, who will spill more details about the events and Osiris. Once his speech is over, the quest is rendered complete.
