This information comes from the official Twitter account which specifies some of the details surrounding the convention.

As the tweet above states, vaccinations and masks will be required. Not only masks but specifically KN95/N95 masks. The official GDQ website also states some more safety precautions the event is taking to ensure it abides by COVID-19 regulations.

“Social distancing will be practiced in all event spaces. The event attendance cap will be reduced in order to facilitate social distancing requirements. Some on-site areas will not be returning this summer, such as the panels and board game room, as they are not currently feasible with our COVID-19 policies. Others, such as the arcade, may be more limited in scope.”

If you’re looking to submit a run, submissions will open on March 21. If you’re looking to attend the event registration for attendees and hotel bookings will open on April 18.

Summer Games Done Quick will be hosted in Bloomington, Minnesota between June 26 – July 3 and raising money for Doctors Without Borders.
